English genius?

I don't think so. It's just my thing. Truthfully, I'm a little embarrassed that I missed two. One was careless. . .its vs it's. . .answered impulsively pre-coffee. My bad. The other one was a little more challenging: Hanged vs Hung. I answered that either was okay. According to the answer key, in references to death by hanging (which this was in context), hanged is always used. Hung is used in all other instances. I'm not sure if this is a grammar rule, or proprietary. I answered based on whether hanged or hung was the correct past tense of hang without considering context. . .ALWAYS context!

Ok Cupid, home of the 32-Type Dating Test
English Genius
You scored 92% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 100% Advanced, and 93% Expert!
You did so extremely well, even I can't find a word to describe your excellence! You have the uncommon intelligence necessary to understand things that most people don't. You have an extensive vocabulary, and you're not afraid to use it properly! Way to go!

Thank you so much for taking my test. I hope you enjoyed it!

English Genius
You scored 100% Beginner, 100% Intermediate, 93% Advanced, and 80% Expert!

I actually psyched myself out on a few! I sat there thinking about it too long and convinced myself it could be used in either way on a couple. 1st rule of test taking--always go with your first gut reaction!!! I should know better.

Did you know one of Andy's best friends from high school is the creator of OK Cupid?

I'm not the least bit surprised.
