Posted by: Scott at Marzo 6, 2005 10:41 PMTruth be told, Joe Moore preached a great sermon on Sunday morning, but will probably never have the same potential to impact my kids while they are young, especially Sam, the way that you (Scott) will, precisely because you are willing to meet them at their level. I know there are a lot of jokes to be made there, but the reality is, Sam and Ethan think you are "awesome" because you play basketball with them and goof off with them, and I think it is important to remember that being real is an important aspect of ministry. I feel confident that as many (if not more) people are reached in that way (on the court, on the bike, hanging out) than from the pulpit.
